Marry Me - Sposami, il film diretto da Kat Coiro, segue la storia di Kat Valdez (Jennifer Lopez), una famosa cantante che sta per convolare a nozze con il fidanzato rockstar Bastian (Maluma), presso il Madison Square Garden, dove una gran folla di fan non vedere l'ora di assistere alla celebrazione. Poco prima della cerimonia Kat scopre che il suo futuro marito l'ha tradita e per ripicca decide comunque di sposarsi, scegliendo, però, un uomo a caso tra il pubblico. La scelta ricade su Charlie Gilbert (Owen Wilson), un divorziato e timido insegnante di matematica al liceo, che si trova lì solo perché ha accompagnato sua figlia Lou (Chloe Coleman) e la sua amica all'evento.
